1. Acceptance

By using Contaris you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Service description

Contaris is a personal finance tracking tool. It helps you view and categorise your bank transactions. It does not provide financial advice. All financial decisions remain your own responsibility.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and a resident of South Africa to use Contaris.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Premium features require a paid subscription managed through the Google Play Store. Subscription fees are charged in ZAR. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Contaris is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transaction categorisation is automated and may be inaccurate. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on information in the app.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Contaris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
